Please read carefully and keep a copy for your own records:

 

Application Form

1.    A separate application must be completed for each child.

 

Time

2.    School hours are 07h30 - 12h30 Monday to Friday. There is an Aftercare facility from 12h30 -17h30.

3.    The School Programme starts promptly at 08h00.

4.    Jozi Jammers Nursery School corresponds with the government school calendar for Gauteng throughout the year.

 

Fees

5.    A non–refundable Registration Fee is payable on acceptance of application.

6.    School fees are payable for 11 months (January – November), irrespective of holidays.

7.    School Fees are payable a month in advance, by the 2nd of the respective month. Failure to pay the school fees will result in the immediate suspension of my child.

8.    No reduction in school fees will be made whenever your child is absent from Nursery School, or during regular school holidays.

9.    One months notice in writing of the proposed removal of your child from the school must be given. If not received in writing, the FEE FOR THE MONTH IN LIEU of such notices WILL BE CHARGED.

 

Sick

10.  The school does not encourage your child to attend school while being ill

11.  The school does not encourage your child, when on antibiotics to attend school.

 

Lunch

12.  Each child should bring a sandwich. This can be varied with dried or fresh fruit already cut or peeled, yoghurt or other healthy food and a bottle of water. Remember this is only a snack; your child should have a full breakfast at home.

13.  If your child is staying for Aftercare, please send a separate lunchbox for the midday meal. The school will provide a midday sandwich should you not send a midday lunchbox.

 

Clothes

14.  Bag for extra clothes – each child must bring a draw-string bag with a change of clothing, clearly marked and to be checked weekly.

15.  A sunhat is compulsory for outside playtimes.

16.  Please mark clearly – all clothing, cases, bags, lunch boxes and water bottles.

 

Annual and Term Requirements

17.  At the beginning of each year, your child is required to bring 1 glue stick, 1 craft glue, I ream of paper, 1 chair bag.

18.  At the beginning of each term, your child is required to bring a roll of toilet paper, a box of

tissues, a pack of wet wipes, nappy sacks for the younger class at the beginning of each term.

 

Other

19.  Please do not allow your child to bring any toys to school.

20.  Birthdays: your child can enjoy a small party on their birthday. Please make arrangements with their class teacher.

21.  Please notify the school if your child is absent for the day.

22.   Please notify the school of any changes to your contact numbers, address, or email address.
